Deadline reports that Sony is working with X-Men: First Class and Adam Sandler’s comedy The Longest Yard, which previously worked on Oscar-nominated screenwriter Sheldon Turner. Still, video game leader Sam Witwer didn’t mention the games as Deacon St. John’s voice, likeness, and motion capture in the Days Gone game. Instead, Deadline reports that Outlanders Sam Heughan has been chosen to fill the saddle with their beloved motorcycle.
There is no official official at the moment. Sony hasn’t made any announcements, nor any of the parties mentioned in the initial report, so at the moment it’s not as good as rumored. That said, Deadline has a decent track record, and it’s not impossible for Sony to take another of its franchises and bring it to the big screen. If Gran Turismo can catch a movie, Days Gone will certainly be possible.

The studio has now moved on to another project, we still have very little to discover, and Days Gone remains in storage. Have a successful movie performance? Will Sony launch its own series in the style of The Walking Dead if it makes this film for the first time?
